About Case Closed Academy
Case Closed Academy is committed to empowering change through education, accountability, and purpose. Led by Shanita Sheppard, a master’s-level Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor, facilitator, speaker, and educator, the academy partners with individuals, schools, and organizations to provide substance use counseling, group facilitation, psychoeducational programming, speaking engagements, and substance use-related assessments that promote accountability, personal growth, and lasting change. Services are tailored to meet the needs of those served and are available in person or online.

Meet the Founder
Shanita Sheppard, MS, MA, LCDC
Hello!Shanita Sheppard is a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor, facilitator, speaker, and educator with over 16 years of experience serving individuals and communities in mental health, substance abuse counseling and recovery, behavioral health, and human services. She holds a Master of Arts in Sociology from Texas Southern University and a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Houston Clear Lake. As the founder of Case Closed Academy, she is committed to providing professional, impactful services that educate, empower, and support lasting change.
